IMD ISSUES "ORANGE ALERT" AT MAJOR PARTS OF DELHI DUE TO HEAVY RAIN

Heavy downpour occurred in Delhi on Sunday leading to major disruption and restrain in people’s daily activities. Severe water logging and traffic hazards are predominant in most parts of the city. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted more squall in the regions of Delhi NCR including today. People are alerted to experience more rain and are asked not to leave their residences; traffic disturbances might retain. IMD issued “orange alert” for Delhi following the scenario.

According to IMD’s Delhi weather forecast, there shall be supposedly moderate rain with cloudy sky, thunderstorms and lightening till 18th august with an average temperate varying from 26 degree celsius to 32 degree celsius.
